I have so much to be grateful for if I just take a moment to look around.
•I’m in sunny California, and even though it’s a little overcast, the temperature is perfect.
•I made it safely to my destination.
•Karli is home with the boys, so I know they are loved and cared for.
•Even when I feel a bit off, I know that I have tools to recenter myself and start my day again.
•My pool is another step towards being completed.
•Phone calls from other men in AA.
•I liked the way I looked in the mirror today.
•I slept well with no dogs to wake me up in the middle of the night.
•I can’t imagine living the way I used to live. My sober life is the only one that makes any sense.
•All the people who have ever contributed to the 7th tradition basket, ensuring that AA was still here when I showed up.
