If I just take a moment to look around, I have so much to be grateful for.
•I go home tonight and see Mon frère and the boys.
•I can enjoy myself even when things don’t go as planned.
•I have a life that I’m excited to get back to.
•I only need to fight today’s battles. Yesterday’s are over, and tomorrow’s don’t exist.
•I’m getting better at seeing the ways my disease attempts to make me uncomfortable in real-time.
•I’m more comfortable with myself than at any other point in my life.
•I have real friends who love and care about me. And I love and care about them.
•It’s become a habit to notice the small, daily blessings that make up my life.
•All the lessons I’ve learned and people I’ve met over these last 927 days.
•I’m so grateful for Alcoholics Anonymous and the life this fellowship has given me.
Thank you for being part of my story!
