7 days sober, but to be honest it felt like the longest 7 days ever.
I bet it did. My first 3 months were the longest months in my life. But as I got more clear headed, worked my program, forgave myself and allowed myself to start having fun again… the days have now been flying past! Stick with it man. It does truly get better. Congratulations on the week! That’s outstanding.
It’s gets better !! Just one hour at a time one day at a time then before you know it , days and weeks have passed and you’re still sober ! Start creating the life you don’t need to escape from . You got this
I know it’s been 12 years sober for me because I stopped drinking a few weeks after my 50th birthday. I don’t dwell much on the time because it makes me anxious. Like the pressure builds the longer I’ve been sober. I guess that’s why AA has the one day at a time approach. You really can only take it one day at a time. Put one foot in front of the other. Do it over and over and you’ll go a thousand miles.
I’m so proud of you! I’m on day 5
Keep pushing warriors! So proud of us! Team us
Keep it up! I’m at day 22 and each day I get healthier and happier getting to know myself.
No doubt. Keep it up
Please don't leave before the miracle happens. You get a sponsor, 10 meetings, and work the steps the miracle will be waiting for you. Blessings
