7 days sober from alcohol just trying to get back to myself again , was drinking everyday for about a year. i was dealing with a lot ln my life and was using it to cope but it didn't really help so now I'm getting sober

One week sober is huge, even if it feels shaky. Don’t forget your brain’s still calming down, give yourself some grace while it evens out :heart:

Congratulations Chelsey!! 7 days sober from drinking everyday is a big accomplishment! 7 day will turn into 14 days and before you know it a year will pass. One day at a time!! I'm 1352 days sober from alcohol. You can do it too, you can too!! I was a functioning alcohol I did everything drunk for 8 years. It was difficult at first, but it did get easier.

Congratulations!!! I was the same way! I couldn't go a day without drinking and didn't have a stopping point when I did start. I've been sober for 3 years and 5 months now! Everyday I'm still in awe of myself for making a choice for ME! You got this girl! Take one day at a time and watch how fast they add up!
