Everybody started at the same place that you are. And there is no finish line.
When we're thinking about picking up a drink we have to learn to play the scene forward.
You might feel some relief for a very short period of time but sooner or later you will be right back at the starting line carrying around more guilt, realizing you accomplished absolutely nothing.
