7300 days sober woohoo 28 years no 12 step program ended up in the hospital with heart failure and liver failure when I left the hospital never touch the stuff again you got to want to do it for yourself in able to succeed if you're trying to do it for anybody but yourself in my experience some other people that I know struggling to get sober it doesn't work you have to want it for yourself

11 years ago, my addiction landed me in the hospital with endocarditis and a massive blood clot in my femoral that almost cost me my entire right leg. I didn't use a 12 step program this time, either.
We're lucky to be here, many are not as fortunate to have survived!
