Today, I choose gratitude.
•Today marks the start of my final semester of undergrad.
•Norman is a happy little guy.
•Barkley is a little more tolerant of Norman each day.
•I can recognize how distorted my thinking can sometimes be.
•Phone calls with other alcoholics always make me feel better.
•Norman is good at sleeping through the night.
•Even on my least productive days, I’m hundreds of times more effective than I was 20 months ago.
•My house is so full all of a sudden. Somehow, it feels like even more of a sanctuary than before.
•I won’t ever have a true conception of God, and that’s okay. Willingness to grow spiritually is all that is required.
•I don’t have to play the director of the universe anymore. Things happen for me. I just have to show up.
God, thank you for my life.
