Today, I choose to be grateful.
•Norman is getting chunky.
•Barkley doesn’t seem sad. That was my biggest concern about getting a puppy.
•It’s hard to imagine being more content than I am today.
•I am so different than I used to be. My mind is quiet, and I’m at peace.
•People at my work like me.
•More often than not, I can be a force for good in the lives of people around me.
•I liked how I looked in the mirror this morning.
•The lady at the meeting last night said to me, “It’s great to see young people doing the deal. I didn’t get sober until 35.” I’m 34.

•My dad is a good guy and has always been a positive role model in my life.
•I was born free of any disease or defect. Besides alcoholism, obviously.
God, thank you for my life.
