Today, I choose gratitude.
•Mom being so enthusiastic about getting me a puppy.
•Barkley is going to be a big brother. He’s probably going to hate it, but I’m hopeful that he’ll help me train him.
•Coach Meg’s reaction to the above statement. It made me feel like, while true, it won’t be as big of a deal as I’m making it in my head.
•Nothing is ever as exactly as I imagine it to be.
•Halaiya and her friend Savannah.
•We got rain this morning, but not until Barkley and I finished our walk.
•My life is so much better than I could have asked for.
•AA convention this weekend.
•Early morning meditation.
•I don’t need to be perfect; I need to be willing.
