If I just take a moment to look around, I have so much to be grateful for.
•The pool is full, and the deck will be finished this weekend.
•Nothing is ever as bad as my head tells me it will be.
•I remain relatively unaffected by the day-to-day happenings of the world.
•Being quiet and still allows me to disconnect from my thoughts, which is a practice that comes in handy often.
•I don’t have to work a perfect program, so long as I try my best and remain teachable.
•Having probiotic medication on hand was really clutch. We seem to have gotten through Norman’s tummy troubles relatively unscathed.
•I’m grateful that I have the fellowship of AA to teach me how to live. I was pretty clueless before.
•It’s easier for me to recognize unhealthy coping skills as they pop up than it has been in the past.
•I woke up in self-pity (even though my life is great??), but didn’t let myself stay there for long.
•Barkley continues to thrive in his old age.
Thank you for being part of my story!
