Was drinking over 1.74L of vodka a day. Had to do a 5 day medical detox at an ER who sent me to their ICU detox unit. Had a grand mal seizure, and multiple regular seizures, and almost died. Greatful to be alive. Still suffering poor sleep, random tremors, anxiety, etc. the gabapentin they gave me a 5 day supply of has helped a bit. So has the "campor" medicine they put me on for cravings 3x a day has also been helpful a bit. For anyone trying to do it on their own, regardless their daily consumption, get medical help. It can go south quickly without warning, and can be deadly. Prayers for those still struggling, and those on the other side of the fence.
