8 days away from being 2 years sober!

So grateful to be so close to an anniversary! Grateful for Loosid supports and application aspects that support recovery. I am grateful for 2 coworkers/past supervisors with how they both have reached out and have been supportive of the situation I am in. I am grateful for corporate in how they have been supportive in finding me a job for which I am qualified. Our HR director is personally handling my applications for a variety of positions which will guarantee interviews. I am grateful for my bestie and my neighbor, both who bring joy and laughter to my life.
I am grateful for our intern who continues to be a steady source of friendship.

I am grateful for walmart pickup and delivery. No kidding, I wish this had been a service when my kids were growing up.

I am grateful for Lil Man and Lucy. Lil Man escaped yesterday via a small area in my fence that exposed the adventurous neighborhood. Luckily, when I started my car, he came running home. I am grateful for his decision. Now, got to find someone to repair the fence. This makes me grateful for the Neighbors Next Door app.

I am grateful for my girls and the new baby. I am still being ostracized by them and yet I am grateful for the times we had together. I am hopeful for the future and looking forward to the day when I am allowed back in to their lives.

As I write my gratitude this morning, I am listening for the set of birds that visit my kitchen each day. I am grateful for their little chirps and that theynfind a source of waternfrom the dog bowl. I think I am later normal and their routine is now not going to include a pit stop here.

I am grateful for choosing sobriety today and yesterday. Today is all I have and I have a day to be sober. I am grateful and excited  for this.
