Sobriety has been a roller coaster of emotions. It has felt like getting electrocuted by anxiety and discontentedness while making significant strides.
It's just a totally bizarre experience.

I'm near 8 months. We're sobriety twins! The highs have been high, and the lows very low, but I'm so happy I haven't turned to a drink.

I remember having my 1st year of recovery & wondering why I didn’t “feel great”. My body was still healing inside and out. I can happily say that I’m waaaaay better now it just took a little longer. Keep your chin up! You’re not alone.
