Just hit 9 months 2 days, just a little after my 34th birthday. The year of 33 has changed me into someone I always wanted to be. Not only responsible, but going after life, and not looking to alcohol or drugs to help me “enjoy” life when they were simply shackles glittering with gold. I’m happy with my sobriety, and I’m still taking it one day at a time, but to see how life is without is way better than with.
