90 days

This is the longest time I’ve had. Ever. Since the whole thing started. I’m so beyond happy. I’m still healing. The damage I did to my body was immense and life threatening. I’m still getting my energy back. The brain fog is slowly lifting. I’m ready to keep this up. Any tips on the whole healing process and milestones.

Congrats on 90 milestone. Way to string those days together. Day by day, one day at a time. And then you can celebrate another milestone.

Try and stay away from sugar although it mimics alcohol in the brain. Yet it’s an unhealthy substance. The healthier you get the less brain fog. A lifetime of neglect takes awhile to heal. You doing awesome. Over that 90 day hump. Hope you getting plugged into a recovery program and share what’s going on daily. Huge congratulations

Congrats! 3 months is huge! It continues to get better every day!

:+1::rainbow::peace_symbol: Awesome  at 120 days hair, nails and skin start start looking noticeably healthier. The avoiding sugar comment is right on as well! Your 90 days is a great accomplishment and inspiring to others like me. I just started over and it really helps to see posts like yours.

Congrats! Although I agree with the sugar comments in terms of health, I would limit any restrictions right now. Be proud that you are not drinking. That's a restriction in itself that is enough to battle right now. The fact you aren't drinking is fabulous. One thing at a time and that is sobriety. You are doing great.

Congratulations
The healing process may seem long and the "when will I finally feel normal" question will pop up every now and then- I did this alot. But as you mentioned, the damage done will need time to heal so be patient and try to give yourself grace. You're already making huge strides in your journey with every new day completed sober. I would remain focused on trying to be conscious of your health as that is what I did in order to heal the damage. Luckily I enjoy eating a healthy raw/clean diet, but do what works for your body and you. Although I enjoy my sweets, I consumed those in small amounts at the beginning but found I can eat them in moderation  As your body heals, try to get some physical activity as I found that to help with brain fog... practice some mindfulness techniques and journal. You'd be amazed how much of a difference months can make as I read back 6 months ago. Wishing you well :white_heart:

Way to go!!! 90 days is huge milestone and I couldn't be more proud of you!

Congrats! One day at a time, and picking up hobbies or doing activities to keep your mind busy have been working for my healing. Every week I stay sober, I celebrate by eating out or going to the movies. It doesn't have to be those but find a way to celebrate your milestones.

Congratulations!! My biggest piece of advice is to be kind and patient with yourself. Some days will be easier than others- that’s okay! Give yourself love and grace. You got this!!
