Day 26 today. Low key Friday night and a recovery after dark meeting here soon. I came into AA back in March but I can admit it took me a bit of time to jump in with both feet. A few runs of 30-40 days throughout those months. I wanted to reach out to the Loosid community and ask when and at what moment did you confidently accept you were powerless over alcohol and never looked back on your journey of sobriety.

The moment I found out is when they told me I had induced my bipolar after having a psychotic meltdown which came from the week prior to my diagnosis. Within 5 days of that week, I just got out of jail from my third DUI, my son found me in a bathtub, my ex husband wanted a separation, and I was diagnosed with cancer. After all that, you needed to make a choice. Much love and blessings!
