First time posting on here. My name is Ben, I’m from Knoxville,Tennessee and it’s been 96 days since I’ve seen home. I travelled to Nashville on October 31st of 2023. That is where my recovery journey began, in a small town outside of Nashville called Nunnely. I was there for a 30 day program. It was while I was there I learned about Santa Barbara Recovery. I flew to Santa Barbara from Nashville after my 30 day program. I have been here now for 60 days. It’s been rough at times, I feel like a fish out of water being from the south, but I never really fit in there either. I’m grateful for my new life so far and can’t wait to see where it takes me.

Hey man, that's exciting. CA is beautiful. If you love the outdoors, you'll love it. Hike the Point Reyes Peninsula or go over to the channel Islands. You can do all of this in sobriety.
