99 days sober, Friday my uncle passed away. I couldn't be with family cause I'm in Wisconsin and they are in Michigan. I really wish I could have seen and talked to him one more time. I hadn't seen him in years. I'm still in shock.

Sorry to hear and hope you can feel better soon. It's difficult losing a loved one. I lost my uncle in 2020 and 3 months later my father. I was sober for their passing thankfully. But then drank and that led to getting sober for good. So in the end sometimes it takes time to heal but if we can make our lives better in response to trauma we are doing the best we can.
