A client brought me a small bottle of champagne. I’m 48 days sober and resisted the urge to drink it. Passed it along to someone else though it was probably better

I get bottles of booze from clients all the time. I just give them to my co workers.

I work for a cabin resort company and guests leave alcohol behind fairly regularly. I used to drink it as soon as I found it. These days, I usually ask if any of the other workers want it and if not I take it and give it to friends.
PERFECT! Have a plan for these things before they happen so you dont even have to think about what to do.

It caught me off guard. In the past I would have seen it as not a big deal, an invitation to restart my clock to day one.
This time I feel stronger in my commitment to never drink again. Ever.
I did want to dump it down the drain since it’s technically not good for anyone…but worried that opening it would tempt me.
