I’m grateful for the day off from work. I’m grateful that my ex in-laws invited me to dinner, there was so many years I was not welcome by anyone from their family. I gratefully declined because with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson gone for the day I have the whole house to myself. I’m grateful to have many healthy habits to replace the very unhealthy ones I once had. I’m grateful for Buddha, meditation, and yoga as well as my family for helping me save my life. I’m grateful for my job in management, there were so many years I couldn’t even manage myself let alone other people and a business nor would I have been trusted to. I’m grateful for my sanity, and the ability to make better choices. I am grateful for having the power inside of me to fight for myself and to love and honor myself. Today I do what is right to keep going forward. I say no when I would rather stay home and relax, do a little cleaning, some self-care. I don’t have to go just because I was invited. And for all of that I am grateful. 🥹
