A fresh start

In 2 weeks I am moving 6 hours away in attempts to make it physically impossible to get drugs while I regain my self control and get through the worst of the cravings. With no car, no neighbours, nobody I know around and far in the country with my dogs I am hoping this time will be successful.

Well they say change people, places and things…..I have relapsed numerous times. I will be 10 months on the 23rd. The fear of not changing and staying the same was greater then the change and that’s what seems different this time.

Sometimes ghosting everything is the greatest gift to yourself.it gives you time to reflect on yourself stay positive

Heck yeah re join when you want to. I took a year away for everyone and everything. I had to get my head strange before trying to get back into the world. It helps just remember to practice rebuilding heath connections in your brain :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m determined and I am far away from everyone and everything I know in the middle of nowhere with no car. So far I’m 13 days sober. The longest I’ve ever gone
