A friend just stopped talking to me randomly. He is devoutly religious. I am not. I am someone who requires empirical evidence. So, no more friends or family will talk to me. Yet, everyone says I'm the nicest person they've ever met. Alone. Completely, alone.

You're not alone.
The search for a higher was difficult for me as most people find it in religion and religious traditions. I couldn't do it. I also don't sneer at those who do find a salvation that way. This is important.
I'm not a Supreme power. There is something bigger than me. The universe is vast. Silly humans argue about Pluto. Silly humans argue about God.
I'm not God, and neither are you. We cannot fathom the true nature of the divine. Get over it and move on.
