A friend of mine that went to rehab with me is back on the streets. Im so sad.

Are they able to advocate for themselves to obtain resources? What can you do help but not enable? Yes it is sad, but it isn't the end. Just an intermission.
I reached out to them and told them I believed in them. Some days I wish that was enough.
I'm in the same boat.
My friend wants to see me but has not replied since I told her I don't want to see her if she's not straight. It was VERY hard to do, but I will not let relationships drag me down, been there done that. YOU ARE ENOUGH All have to get there before we are there and everyone has their own path. I also need help in feeling enough which is what compelled me to comment.
