“On your darkest days do not try to see the end of the tunnel by looking far ahead. Focus only on where you are right now. Then carefully take one step at a time, by placing just one foot in front of the other. Before you know it, you will turn that corner.”
So beautiful I am actually crying! Thank you Dylan.
Yeah yeah yeah what about sobriety though?
Beautiful.., thank you for sharing
What about it?
Wow, what a new way to look at the journey of sobriety, and healing!!! Thank you so much for sharing
This app is about sobriety. You're just pimping some religious stuff.
So, what about it?
It’s about recovery, sobriety, 12, steps, Higher Power and positive posts and quotes. You are supposed to relate it to your own personal life and beliefs. Clearly others liked this post. It is supposed to be read in the morning to start your day off on a positive note to give strength and hope throughout the day.
It's not about any of those things at all, man.
Sure you can interpret it however you want I suppose, but to me it just looks like more proselytizing. Sobriety, recovery, 12 steps, none of those are mentioned in it.
Of course others liked the post, they are religious people.
If you aren’t a religious person then change God to another name. Anything you believe in. I am not religious and I can still relate. I’m actually Jewish. All you need to do is relate to your own life.
Right Choice Recovery looks great. It is a recovery resource based on reasoning? There is nothing religious mentioned at all online, which is awesome. Does that change once someone gets in?
Right Choice Recovery is recovery and 12 step based. There is 12 step speakers from AA on certain nights. It’s only religious if a client requests a religious offsite meeting. Everyone has different beliefs and no recovery is the same. Some people are good with art so there is art therapy, music therapy, and of course holistic approach like reiki and chiropractic services.
