A really cool golf pro committed suicide and he was a self admitted alcoholic. He just won medal recently. Rest in peace brother.

I saw that. I appreciate that the media didn’t seem to shy away from it. They had some difficult conversations. It’s meaningful to bring mental health and substance addiction out of the darkness and into the light. Hopefully it will help somebody who is struggling. I know it helps me

So sad; our government takes good care or everyone. Alcoholics take the back seat

Some progress has been made-while still such a long way to go.

Too many stigmas remain.

I saw a thread earlier…what is the point of this app?…someone asked.
Well.
One of the points being of course-to help others struggling.

I teared up when I read the part about his family asking others to be kind to one another as part of his legacy.

We live in a world where being a sensitive soul can feel unbearable, at times.
