A Sober Super Bowl

As most of you probably know, the Super Bowl was on Sunday. Many use this day to get together with friends and family and share their love of football and enjoy a good game. But, many also participate in drinking on this day. It can be hard when surrounded by people drinking and being sober.

It can be hard but it is also very rewarding, going through a day many consider a holiday sober. These types of days are not meant for anything more than spending time with friends and family, having some good food, enjoying and a good game.

Pretty sure the only reason people "like" the superbowl is the drinking part. I mean, I assume a few people do enjoy watching men in spandex exercise, but the majority just wanna get wasted and act stupid.

Having been through all the holidays sober, twice. And having been invited to all the family parties at least once, any day that you can spend with family and friends while feeling welcome is a good day. I'm happy to be there, and they're happy to have me there and that I'm well. OH, pizza of course! Would have been better if the Giants were playing!

Boring game. Poor halftime show. Shut it of and started a 1000 piece puzzle. Life is good!! ODAAT

I watched it at home with my family. Chili and a root beer.
