AA crowd being exclusive

I think my addiction was less bad or something because quitting was hard but i just do NOT identify with the AA crowd.
Recebtly joined a nee group of friends (dated into their circle) they all go to AA and theyre like culty about it.
They look down on me for being able to quit cold turkey and i dont think i can credit others for my recovery nor do i think its healthy to cridit yourself for others recovering (ie being a sponsor for the wrong reasons).
One girl at this party claimed to be my partners sponsor which madehim correct her to some guy named ben. Thay was pretty funny. But i wonderwhrre hr head was at woth this lol.

I feel like these at least 4 prople will be a hig part of my life going forward and need them to be chill with their self importance and big opinions on step wprk and rigid sobriety. Im sober right now but i wont be considering myself an addict life long. And i may drink now and then going forward becauselikely i can handle it now that im working on the underlying issue in therapy. How do i reconcile this with my new forced friends who will definitely judge me for drinking around them(but will be imposong themselves onto family events) hmmmmmm
