AA Meetings

I’ve been doing mostly virtual meetings since Covid but apply for a professional license and they want me to have papers signed. Can this be done virtually? Or are there any in-person meetings in/near Norwalk, Ca? I’d like to find a home group here (also moved here from Michigan) but it seems impossible to get to an actual meeting close by. I’ve found 1 hr meeting can be 3hrs total with the crazy traffic here. I got the book, checked online and seems the closest is Whittier and it’s kinda a hike for me. Hoping to find something closer or a way to have papers electronically signed for virtual meetings. Hoping someone here can help..

There’s plenty of meetings around the Norwalk area. Download the app Meeting Guide and you can set a distance range on meetings

In person is much much better than virtual. IMO. There are lots of in person meetings near you. Get to them and get a schedule.

Yes. I did this 8 years ago in Michigan. Now California is making me do it again (despite almost 8yrs sober). I was hoping to be able to do virtually. I’m still not used to the traffic here lol. Probably never will be!! I’ll try the one in Bellflower. I love big book studies and maybe try the paramount that was mentioned, for some variety, although I think that’s a bit farther. I’m somewhere in between rough n tumble and suit n tie type  . TYSM for the responses!!:two_hearts::pray:t4::muscle:t4:

I even tried an Alano but every time I called, no answer and vm was full. Every time I drove there, closed. Everyone insists it’s still open but I haven’t been able to catch them there.
