Here in Portland we have had a crazy ice storm and unfortunately we had a pipe freeze and burst this morning. I’m glad I was sober and able to keep calm while handling a VERY stressful situation. Three of my paintings got ruined but the house is fine.

I’m really upset about the paintings and won’t know the full extent of the damage to the rest of them until everything dries out fully but there’s nothing I can do about it right now.

You’re right Chris. The reason it’s upsetting is because they are paintings that I did from before I became an alcoholic, so they’re sentimental in a way.
