Don't make someone feel bad about not being close to their parents or catering to their parents more, when you yourself does not even live with your parents and have vowed to never live with them in the first place. You get the freedom to get into your car and go to your parents house when you feel like it, or your parents are deceased and you don't have to see them anymore.
