Everyone has things in their past they wish they could change. In recovery, it’s normal to feel regret or shame about old choices. But recovery starts with accepting your past instead of fighting it.

Compassion. Having compassion for myself and for others is something that is huge for me

Yes...compassion for myself ....forgiving myself.
But most important I have learned to practice gratitude .
