Addict Friends

You’re gonna need to find sober people because of the obvious? Just can’t chance it, too big a risk

I support all the awesome things people have been saying ^^^^^^ I’m also just starting to peep into sober communities like AA (and hence Loosid) because I’ve lost touch with my closest friends and it is getting lonely as haylll. Side note I also started Latin ballroom classes and exploring new hobbies.. I’ve heard it’s a good way to make friends as an adult lol juries out on that but having some fun while I try

ballroom classes are cool ! I volunteer with animals and there’s lots of people there i just haven’t made a friend yet. Also my coworkers are sober and they are fun to work with might hang out with them too ! There’s a good community at my work and big seminars once a month where all the stores come together so hopefully I can find some friends there.
In my downtime, I have gone to many art classes but I’m never able to make a friend cos they are all wayyyy older than me like it just doesn’t go how i hope it would. like i would be friends with someone older than me but i don’t think they are looking to befriend me lol

Ah sounds like it’s only a matter of time before you click up with some sober friendly friends. Law of attraction, if you want it, it’ll come! And about your old friends, maybe they’ll be into some of the sober activities you’re into and maybe they won’t and you’ll just naturally drift apart. Either way, definitely gotta agree that it’s bad news going back to the same place to hang.. sounds like you’ve got better places to be anyways! What kind of art classes we talkin?
