Addiction steals some of the most beautiful souls.praying for myself

That I have to feel everything I tried to numb out. I haven’t healed from things that I’ve been through and struggle to cope with how broken, scared and faithless it has made me. I’m struggling with having to face what I tried so hard to numb out and live with fear everyday

Keep fighting. I can relate to feeling alone all the time. I feel alone a lot myself. But you are not alone. I’m here and so is everyone else who’s going through the same thing. I’ve lost a lot through my addiction but I never gave up. I’m still here thank god and ima keep fighting as you should as well. I wish nothing but the best for you. If you need just an ear I’m here to listen if you need.

Please do more than "prayer". While prayer might be good for settling your mind, it's hardly going to make a real working difference. Keep up in treatment, get to meetings, meet real people and hear their stories and accept their friendship.

You have my prayers. I'm new here, but I can tell this is the right place to be. I believe in your ability to work through this and live an abundant life.

Thank you. I appreciate that I am not only fighting addiction but also having difficulty with healing and not living with fear from a seriously abusive marriage and it makes staying clean sometimes very difficult because of the damage that was done but thank you I will start doing more foot work and pray for the life I want and deserve

It’s helped me. I recently lost my wife in a car accident and It’s been rough lately so I’ve been journaling my thoughts

From one relapsed person to another…let’s dust off and get back to it! I’ve been there many times, this last year but I KNOW I’m gonna get sober. Have 21 days today!!! Not being sober is not an option. I’ve got too many beautiful moments ahead and exciting things to do. So do you!
