Addiction steals some of the most beautiful souls.praying for myself because I’ve relapsed again and it has me on my knees crying begging God for the help I need… it’s caused so many problems and I ended up in hospital, detox treatment then get out and been fighting these demons in my head. I’m tired and frustrated and I wish it didn’t have to feel so lonely all the time… hopefully I’ll meet some people that are actually good for me. I can’t stop praying I don’t want this disease to take my life, it’s already stolen so much from me I just feel so weak please pray for me if you will I need the extra prayers. Much love
Melissa Marie
Good morning Melissa Marue, it is a very good morning because you are here with us. I'm not sure what demons you are fighting but I will pray you are able to push them away. Have you tried a program like AA or NA, I think it will help if you have someone to talk to. I will talk anytime reach out. Prayers for you

You are not alone, Melissa. Many of us know what it's like to battle the demons day in and day out. You don't have to fight them alone.
You have been given a gift. You woke up this morning. You may be hurting and you may be in pain but you are still here. One day sober is one day when the disease does not win.
And truth be told, I am telling you something I need to hear. My heart hurts and I am feeling very alone in the world but I am still here and I am still sober.
You and I have a choice to make right now. Do we want to accept the gift of today even though it is not perfect or do we throw away today and all the tomorrows that come from it?
I am choosing not to give up today. I would really appreciate it if you would join me.
Melissa, it's such a difficult path, but YOU CAN do this. You need to continue seeking help every single day, every minute! We are here for support! I always let people know of another app that was extremely useful, called I am Sober, between the two there is so much help! We got you!
While you may feel weak, you are in fact strong, and courageous. It’s not easy to ask for help. You can get through this. You are not alone, we are all together on this journey.
Melissa, consider this morning a win over those demons…you woke up and are reaching out. My higher power is the Lord Jesus Christ so in his name I pray that you will have strength and clarity of mind. Make the decision that today just today, you will not drink/use. If you need to make that declaration every five minutes, do it. Tomorrow when you wake up you will feel better. You will be in my daily prayers.
You don’t have to do this alone.
You are far from weak. The fact that you are here today talking about your issues and being vulnerable is a sign of strength!
Remember small battles wins big wars! You can do this. Everyone’s situation is different but our end goal is the same. Lean on people get help and create self love.
I’m here I added you as a friend

If you're desperate for change and willing to take action, then the worst may be behind you. In my lowest point, the gift of desperation had me finding a sponsor and working the 12 steps (action) I just wanted to be off drugs and alcohol but that "spiritual awakening as a result of the steps" changed my life is all areas not just the substance abuse.
The program isn't for the people that want, nor need it, it's for the people that do it.
Hit a meeting, find a sponsor that knows the Big Book, and works the steps as suggested out of the Big Book. Find a sober community. Take it all in. Keep in mind we have to put time into the solution, just as we put time into our addiction and resulting behaviors.
If you need to talk or need info on some Zoom meetings or have questions about the 12 steps let me know
You can beat these demons. Just reach out to someone and pray every time you feel like using or drinking. I’ve been struggling hard as well and doing those things plus writing my feelings has helped me stay clean for 34 days today. Working on my steps.
You can do this, Melissa Marie! We believe in you. Some days, it’s really one breath at a time.
I love making lists of all the things I would like to do, get done, try and explore.
The list can go on and on and on depending on my mood. Then I pick a fun one to do, then a productive one and then maybe an outdoor adventure to breathe in the fresh air.
Sometimes I also binge watch a show and nap. There’s nothing wrong with allowing our bodies to heal from the stress we have out it through.
It sounds like you are doing the hard work so I remind you to go easy. Rest is important and reaching out too.
Way to go for posting on here!!!
Stay strong! The beginning is always the toughest
I am feeling this. I am sending you all the love , prayers , and good vibes I have!!! You can do this. It’s just a lost battle, you haven’t lost the war. I relapsed again and I’m going to just keep trying. That’s all we can do. Wishing you the best.
