This week I’ve been struggling with addiction switching, using nicotine to stem my cravings for marijuana. I’m disappointed in myself and threw it away this morning but I’m struggling with cravings even worse now..

Its a process. It takes time. Keep talking about it. Different people have different answers that help. I fell in love with dancing so that's what I did. I doubt that will be your thing. Keep looking.
I actually love dancing but haven’t gotten back into it since organized dance team back in high school. How did you find your love for it?

I got to festivals, lounges and theatres for free form dancing.
I do have to say I did not go to these places when I was new in recovery. It was not advised by my sponsor. As she said to me, you are not ready to be running around where alcohol is readily available. Go if you want but it's not a good idea.
I started making friends in 12 step meetings that had years of recovery. After I picked up more time, we alll went together for support.
After 30+ years of recovery I am able to go freely to all these places without challenges. This is my experience. Dancing is my absolute favorite activity and has helped me through many challenges
12 step meetings have activities that include dances. That could be a great place to start.
