Addiction vs Medical use

My issue the past couple years has been cocaine..
That has been a struggle..
Currently 6 days clean of that.
I used to attend Na and it was a 100% clean of every substance
Presently , I use marijuana butter, daily, for pain.
It does not cause me issues financially or family or work or anything..
Nor does it make me want to get that other garbage..
The whole thing is still somewhat controversial to me though in my mind...

Every day use is probably not the best regimen as it can become habitual and you need to know you can do without it, as it's absence for any reason could potentially trigger a relapse. I would go without it whenever you think your pain is manageable. I think marijuana's okay and even helpful to some. It's not cocaine! It's really up to your better judgement. I smoke by myself, though rarely. It's not their business and you know yourself better than anyone.

Congratulations on being 6 days cocaine-free! Marijuana is a touchy subject for many in recovery. I think it really depends on the individual. I know plenty of people in recovery that have had weed "take them out". I know just as many that are fine doing the "cali-sober" thing. I know form personal experience that for me: pot leads to booze, which leads to meth, which leads to heroin/fent. I agree with Jay saying to try not to use it everyday, if your pain will allow it.
