Addiction, weather it is alcohol, or drugs it is a mistress that will lure you into a false sense of security. It will lie to you and cause you to say and do things you would never do while sober. Any thought of quitting, it will here you and pounce and distract you from quitting. Addiction will do everything it can to make you feel safe, secure, and know one can hurt you. But the bottom line is, the mistress called addiction is the one hurting you. Don’t let the it win.
