Addicts are some of the best liars. They lie to them selfs in their own voice. They lie to others to get what they want with no disregard for any outcome that may arise. I personally know and understand this.

In active addiction I belive so, and some are just as bad sober...but there are a number of people who don't need to lie anymore when they don't have that monkey on their back

Excusing sh***y behavior makes it sure to repeat. Liars and thieves think everyone's just like them. They think we're all dumb for not being evil, like we just haven't thought of it yet.
