After 10+ years of husband and I have been alcoholics we FINALLY got quit yesterday. It’s only one day but a BIG step.

Awesome. Build a support system for both of you. Both independently and together as a unit. There I'll be days you need help for each of you separately, and some days you will need help as a couple. Get to some meetings.

Don’t go to ABC store. Taking classes now. We’ll see what the future brings. If need be AA.

You are lucky to have a partner to do it with! Most of us have to leave or they left us. Cherish that!

Congratulations. That is do huge, and awesome that you and your husband are doing it together. That first day is the most crucial, because that is going to be the foundation you guys build your recovery on. I am so happy for you both . keep being strong for each other
