Alcoholism is exactly how it has been written about... cunning, baffling, and powerful. "Normie's" don't get it... the daily power struggle. Perhaps one day I can meet someone who "gets me".

Perfectly said. I hope you go to meetings and have a recovery team. They will help you. The only people that get it are the ones going through the same thing or maybe the medical profession. People that can drink “normal” can’t understand. Just remember you need to do this for you. Dying from alcoholism is brutal I watched my brother die the color of a lemon. Stay strong.
It's such a struggle to see in myself what everyone says they see about me
