Honestly I need help, I feel hearing people negatively deaf people

Often it isnt that hearing people are being negative to deaf, it is there is a massive language barrier. Aside from making it mandatory for everyone to learn sign language there isn't much we can do for it. I have known only 4 completely deaf people in my lifetime; and all 4 were were met in the last 8 years. If I was around deaf frequently as a youth I probably would have learned sign language, but as a kid I didn't need it.
Sadly for someone who is inrecovery the resources for deaf people may be far from adequate for this reason. As much as a facility would love to make sure they can cater to everyone in need they just don't have the resources to be prepared for every contingency.
