All the years that i used drugs and alcohol, I lost. I feel as if I have been enlightened finally and have made peace with the decade I have lost. I feel as if I wasn't even awake untill a few years ago. I have lost opportunities and many many friends 6 feet under and ones that either looked down on me and ones that I just cannot be friends with due to substance abuse. I have a good job and am constantly looking for opportunities with my eyes wide open now.
