34 days without a drink and blood pressure still as high as ever. 166/103 I'm very disappointed with my Doctors and their recommendations with my drinking and several food restrictions. I'm so tired of hospitals covid excuses and their reasons not to property treat patients but I still have to pay 900.00 a month for health insurance.
Be patient. If you are like me, it’s going to take a while for your body to come back from the years of beating the sh$t out of it.
I agree- be patient. Mine took a while longer than that. Good luck!
34 days is fantastic!! Let’s celebrate that! Without sobriety you haven’t got a chance at getting to the bottom of what’s going on. I agree with Shawn and Robyn…be patient. Give your body and the docs some time to work it out.
I’ll post a pic of what I do for the first week of every month. Worked for me. I was at 191/110. I’m at 120/80 now. But I cut out salt too.
I get it, I had hoped for spectacular improvement in a month, not so much. But it is getting better just takes time.
I feel ya ! You would think not drinking would bring your blood pressure down ! But nooo .. not in early sobriety anyway.. mines ok .. I’ve been on meds for a while but when a quit drinking 59 days ago it went up even on meds for a little while
