Today I’m grateful I woke up sober. Grateful my head is clear and my heart’s still beating. Most of all, I’m grateful I get another day to be here for my little girl. She’s only four, and she deserves a dad who shows up. I don’t have it all figured out, but I’ve got today—and today I choose her, and I choose sobriety.
