Better is better. If you’re working back from rock bottom while smoking weed, maybe it’s good. I’m inclined to say it will probably lead you to the same place because addiction can’t tell the difference though.
Marijuana doesn’t fit with sobriety for my recovery. No judgement.
Not if it’s a prescription from a dispensary
I’m an alcoholic (addict), and that type of action/behavior always led me back to a drink before o got sober. One day at a time, try to do the next right thing a thing at a time….
Sometimes I feel -if I have to ask, I already know the answer.
Same here. Was high on weed and ended up at a liquor store.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but marijuana doesn’t trigger me to drink personally.
i’ve never taken a bad desicion high.. maybe about eating a chocolate at night lol
I just wouldn’t consider myself sober, no one’s the judge and jury of what to stay away from or continue doing, there’s no cheating, is just sober or not. If weeds not the problematic issue continue, if alcohol is the only one causing negativity, stay away. Choose you! Sending positive energy your way and no judgement!
Me neither
Seen alot of people try the "green sobriety" mostly led to relapses
If it works for you, it works for you and that’s what matters. As long as you’re not substituting one drug for another, does that make sense? I think you’re doing great and you shouldn’t even worry about if smoking weed is cheating, you’re working on your recovery that’s the most important part
Yes!
Of course not. Weed isn’t a drug. It’s medicine for the brain to escape reality. Who needs reality when you have a medicine to escape it?
I guess it depends on what everyone's idea of "whatever works" is. I was in a relationship with someone who was an alcoholic as well, then stopped drinking and stayed smoking weed all the time. It was just as damaging. "California sober" is dumb, in MY opinion.
Hahaha wrong. Pill addiction is usually fed through prescriptions too.
Yes.
Better to meet life on life’s terms without changing your state. Lean into the discomfort until you are comfortable with it.You can do it. We believe in you.
I think it depends on how it’s used. I still have issues with insomnia and weight loss, these have been ongoing since I quit my addictions. I live in a medical legal state and my doctor who I am 100% honest with suggested I try it. I only ever use it right before bed and has helped a lot. Just because it can be abused doesn’t mean it has to be.
yup
