I’m starting IOP on Wednesday, that’s tomorrow, I signed up for IOP about a week ago after getting out of detox.

IOP I think stands for intensive outpatient program.

I came into AA around 1990.
Old timers made a big deal about the mention of drugs in AA but there were at least 2 stories that I knew of that had drugs in them. The two that I know about may have been the same story with different names; Doctor, Alcoholic, Addict and Physician Heal Thy Self. I've always identified as an alcoholic but as far as I'm concerned they are all drugs.

I never understood what the big deal was about.

John please keep me in prayer I’m going to detox Monday morning and staying for their 30 to 90 day inpatient rehab. I gotta get right this time man I’m gonna end up dead I’ve been doing a lot of heroin and it’s all fentanyl and drinking around the clock I really need help buddy

I just recently came off of meth as well. This app literally saved my life a few of the people on here really went out of their way for me and I actually got sober. This was something I never thought would happen. I was close to death. This is all still very new for me. But your in the right place. I lost everything because of meth. My husband my family my home and whatever else you can think of. So if you need a reason to stay off meth. I’ll tell you my story.

Sweetheart, you are in the right place because it does not matter what kind of substance that you were trying to get clean of the point is you are trying to get clean and anyone who says otherwise I say don’t even bother listening to them because it’s bullshit
