I've been on here a short time, in all my years of sobriety 36+ years. There's a great diversity of People, advice, and empathy.
When I go though the posts and the responses on them, I'm proud and overly grateful to see such a community.
I originally came here for the dating part of the app unfortunately There is no one in my area. I keep running in to women on other sties. It goes great until it comes to my sobriety. I realize that it is on them and there shortcomings.
I went on a date on Monday with a gal it was going great we had a lot in commom, when I told her about my sobriety her eyes quickly diverted from me. She ghosted me for a couple days then sent text and said it was going to work out.
That rejection trigger a cycle I have not seen in years. When I read the post and comments here, that snap the cycle.
