I never thought I would ever make it to this point in sobriety...with all the things out there set to sabotage my every step I was sure that it couldn't happen and I was destined to die in a sea of alcohol. Yet here I am at 1400 days, and while life certainly still tries to sink my ship on the sea of life, I know that as long as I follow my guiding light I will not be stopped! I may have hard days (because life is no picnic for sure), but as long as my course stays true I will succeed in my sobriety! I wish you all the best out there and hope that you too find calm seas and bright skies on your own course..... we are the master of our seas!
