And just like that, I’ve completed my first course, and am on my way towards becoming a behavioral health professional, qualified to work with people recovering from drug & alcohol abuse, sexual abuse, and domestic violence. I’m not on speaking terms with my biological family, but i should probably thank them, for raising me in a manner, and putting me through some things, that gives me a remarkable insight into the clients I’ll soon be dealing with.
Congratulations, Cara! The world needs more people like you who want to help. I appreciate you!
Congratulations! So admirable. I really want to do this myself.

Working with others is one of the best tool for staying sober.
Congratulations
As long as you go to meetings and work the steps—I have seen too many counselors who didn’t apply the program to themselves or eventually slipped into other peoples lives and didn’t have that relationship with HO that they should in order to say sober, happy, joyous and free!
