So the tradition so “Anonymity in press radio and films.” but really what it’s meant to protect is our anonymity to the outside world. It’s our choice to speak on our recovery journey. We never want to take anyone else’s business and broadcast it to the outside world. It also means that when we all walk through the doors of a meeting we are all the same.

Anonymous is a choice in AA!! Many of us use our last names while traveling and speaking across the country. As long as you’re okay with it, that’s all that matters!! Welcome!
